Job summary

Redwire Defense Tech in the United States is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead Navy/USMC prime contracts, owning cost, schedule, and performance across large and multiple smaller programs. This remote role requires regular travel to customer sites and strong leadership, communication, and technical project management expertise.

You will be the primary client interface, briefing on delivery status, coordinating responses to directives, and working cross-functionally with engineering,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience with NAVAIR program offices, AIR PMO preferred.
• Experience with DoD lifecycle policies and processes.
• Defense/aerospace background, UAV market preferred.
• Earned Value Management experience.
• Strong customer support and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Redwire face to customer for post-award activities.
• Coordinate engineering responses to field issues and directives.
• Provide input to cross-functional teams during proposal, design, and production.
• Track program performance metrics (schedule, cost, risk).
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage budgets and program P&Ls.
• Lead training coordination and travel as required.
