Job summary

Ifas Llc seeks a Manager, Program/Project II to lead Navy-centric programs in the Washington, DC area. The role focuses on planning, directing, and delivering major initiatives, including defining technical approaches, resource negotiations, and managing milestones, schedules, and budgets.

Candidates should have extensive Navy program management and engineering support experience, plus the ability to travel 1–3 times yearly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Navy program management experience.
• 2+ years of Navy engineering support experience.
• Ability to analyze and process engineering program documentation.
• Ability to assess and update spend plans.
• Ability to develop/document/implement new processes.
• Ability to analyze program risks and develop risk assessments.
• Must be proactive, work independently, and within a team environment.
• Ability to travel to support client (minimal, 1-3 times per year).
• Experience or familiarity with the BYG-1 submarine combat system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall planning, direction, and success of major programs and systems development efforts.
• Define and guide technical approaches; advise on resources and negotiations.
• Establish and control milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs for programs.
