Job summary

MBC is recruiting a Senior Program Manager to lead major surface ship modernization, sustainment, and data-driven decision-support for a Navy program. The role requires translating mission needs into analytics and coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors to deliver outcomes.

Based in the Washington, D.C. area with potential travel; candidate should have Navy PM experience, DoD data platform familiarity, and security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of Navy PM support experience.
• Translate government missions into data-informed concepts.
• Know-how of data analytics, visualization, and AI/ML for DoD contexts.
• Familiar with DoD data platforms (Advana, Palantir, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) at conceptual level.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; able to obtain security clearance.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, direction, and success of major programs and multi-year efforts.
• Define, organize, and direct short- and long-range program plans and resources.
• Establish and control milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs.
• Plan internal and external engagements, meetings and events.
• Develop briefing material per Navy guidelines.
• Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls; report to leadership.
• Evaluate deficiencies and coordinate improvements.
• Attend meetings and assist with presentations and communications.
• Serve as trusted partner to DPAE Maritime leadership and staff.
• Translate mission needs into analytics and ensure delivery with teams.
• Champion digital transformation and AI-enabled workflows in DoD context.
• Ensure analytics meaningfully inform leadership decisions.
• Travel domestically and internationally; obtain required clearances.
