Job summary

International Systems Management Corp. (ISM) is seeking a Journey/Senior-Level Systems Engineer to provide engineering support to the US Navy in Washington, DC.

The role requires subject matter expertise in US Navy weapons control systems and components for surface and subsurface platforms. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering/science and at least five years of professional experience, with strong skills in documenting and presenting technical information, and the ability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math or Science with at least five years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products; strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Mission planning and/or strike experience with Tomahawk, CMSA, or MDA.
  • Designing studies and evaluations for research, development, production and operations.
  • Reviewing and providing feedback to the program office on technical documentation submissions.
  • Providing program engineering support and requirements development for complex systems.
  • Identifying risks and developing mitigation plans for cost, schedule, and technical issues.
  • Preparing technical presentations, briefings, and papers for design reviews and boards.
  • Collaborating with program office stakeholders and acting as liaison.
  • Supporting configuration management planning, change control, and audits.
