Job summary

International Systems Management Corp. (ISM) is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior-Level SI&T Engineer to provide engineering support to the US Navy.

The role focuses on SME guidance of Navy combat and weapons systems on surface and subsurface platforms, with Washington, DC as a reference location and travel ~20%. Mid-Level candidates need a bachelor’s in Engineering, Math, or Science with 4+ years in naval or systems engineering; Senior candidates require 10+ years plus 3+ years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math or Science with 4+ years of professional naval or systems engineering experience (Mid).
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in naval engineering with at least 3 years in a supervisory role (Senior).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; strong written and oral communication; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute SI&T activities for US Navy systems.
• Detail design implementation of physical and electrical interfaces.
• Work with ship design constraints, equipment installation criteria, and platform support system requirements.
• Develop recommendations for system load-out, installation, and test plans.
• Execute waterfront ship test programs and complete test programs.
