Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math or Science required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design studies and evaluations for R&D, production and operations.
• Review technical submissions and provide feedback to the program office.
• Provide program engineering support on problem definition, analysis and requirements.
• Assess system development, improvements, and mitigation of issues.
• Identify risks and develop cost/schedule/technical mitigation plans.
• Support configuration management planning and change control activities.
• Prepare technical presentations for design reviews and boards.
• Liaise with program office stakeholders as required.
• Coordinate risk tracking and resolution of engineering issues.
