Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Seven (7) years of professional experience.
• Five (5) years of relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering, designing mechanical systems for US Navy HM&E Submarine Communication and Electromagnetic Systems.

Aufgaben

• Lead design projects from initial concept through detailed engineering, prototyping, and field validation, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and regulatory frameworks.
• Mentor junior engineers, driving innovation in HM&E solutions, and delivering projects on time and within scope.
• Create technical drawings and developing supporting technical documentation packages
• Review technical data packaged, mechanical test and quality data and review of design, manufacturing level, and system installation engineering drawings
• Desirable skills: CAE/FEA, SolidWorks, Finite Element Analysis, modeling tools; welding and piping; materials selection; systems engineering understanding
