SEACORP seeks a System Engineer IV to support a highly specialized submarine platform integration effort from Middletown, RI. This role focuses on rigorous technical oversight of Government Furnished Equipment contractors and managing inter-contractor dynamics for the SSN-812 program.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive systems engineering experience within naval defense acquisition, with an emphasis on submarine platforms.
• Master's Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline.
• Security Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• GFE Contractor Oversight: Provide technical oversight for GFE contractors and ensure deliverables meet cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
• Contractual Analysis: Interpret and evaluate the technical and operational impacts of SOWs and government contracts to manage contractor relationships.
• Boundary Management: Resolve inter-contractor disputes and align inputs with the system-of-systems architecture.
• GFE/GFI Pipeline: Validate and integrate GFE/GFI into primary test and integration beds.
• Oversee system-of-systems engineering activities across legacy and modern platform architectures.
• Define and maintain high-level system requirements, Interface Control Documents, and verification plans per NAVSEA procedures.
• Serve as the primary technical interface to NUWC Newport management, Navy program offices, and subcontractor leadership.
• Apply Agile program management to manage milestones, risks, and program increments.
