Job summary

Raytheon Technologies RTX in Massachusetts is seeking a Systems Engineer to support complex radar-centric defense systems onsite at Woburn/Tewksbury facilities. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive performance improvements, develop test plans, and assist with integration and verification across hardware and software domains.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance, with travel up to 50% and a strong background in systems engineering and DOORS/Rhapsody/Cameo

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience integrating military systems in one or more of the following; software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, or systems test.
• Engineering leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Drive Performance: Lead a team to collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
• Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 50%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
• Testing: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
• Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
• Modeling and Simulation: Utilize modeling and simulation tools to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
• Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
• Collaborate: Work with customers and multi-disciplinary internal teams to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
