Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer in Marlborough, MA to support Naval Radar programs. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams to drive performance, manage mission-support travel, develop test plans, and analyze data to ensure system verification and validation.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience integrating military systems (software, hardware, requirements, integration, or test).
• Engineering leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive performance by leading cross-functional collaboration to improve system performance and resolve issues.
• Travel up to 50% to support mission execution at RTX facilities, test sites, vendor sites, and customer locations.
• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration and verification in simulated and real environments.
• Identify and resolve hardware, software and system issues through data analysis and debugging.
• Use modeling and simulation tools to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate functionality.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to achieve seamless integration.
• Document integration plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and communicate results to leadership.
• Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Develop and track specifications across complex system architectures.
