Job summary

BCS Allegient seeks a Senior Program Engineer to join our team at the Office of Naval Research in Arlington, VA. The position is onsite five days a week and focuses on program management, budgets, and technical coordination across stakeholders.

Required are 10 years in engineering/science disciplines, with recent federal acquisition and budgeting experience. A bachelor’s degree is required, with master’s or PhD substitutions available for experience.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of experience in engineering, mathematics, or science, including biology, chemistry, computer science, and physics.
• Recent experience (last 5 years) in federal acquisition and budgeting.
• Experience in S&T program management.
• Experience in technical program management of programs in excess of $1M.
• Experience in planning methodologies to analyze research programs and development of databases for tracking deliverables and milestones.
• Experience in evaluating and developing analytical models, procedures, and techniques; experience executing and reviewing technical studies, analyses, and design activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Manager with management and oversight of program objectives.
• Provide technical support and coordinate conferences, demonstrations, events, meetings, and reviews.
• Maintain briefings and assist in data calls and budget exhibits submissions.
• Support liaison activities with senior officials in other departments and industry.
• Assist in developing and maintaining key documents and master plans.
• Support management and execution of programs, including acquisition plan development and performance assessment.
• Update planning sheets, mission model canvases, quad sheets and portfolio review slides.
• Assist in developing databases for tracking deliverables and milestones.
• Prepare program status and after-action reports.
