BCS Allegient is hiring a Senior Research Analyst for the Office of Naval Research in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on managing funded research related to human health, safety and performance in extreme environments, with emphasis on external relations for Program Officers.

The position requires a Master’s (or PhD) in life sciences, a Secret clearance, and the ability to coordinate with government, academia and industry partners. Salary ranges from $85K to $100K depending on experience.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s Degree in Life Science preferred.
• Experience attending scientific and engineering meetings.
• Experience in physiology, human health and safety, and underwater operations research topics.
• Secret Clearance or interim Secret Clearance before on-boarding.
• Experience coordinating research collaborations with academia, federal agencies, industry or international partners.
• Familiarity with DoD/D.o.W research environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of funded research related to human health and safety in extreme environments, performance and endurance, tools for underwater operations, biology and biomedicine.
• Manage external relations for Program Officers with partners including the Navy, Coast Guard, academia and industry.
• Assist in preparing analyses, briefs, and presentations; organize meetings and collect, review information for program management.
