Qualifications

  • PhD or Master’s Degree in Life Science preferred.
  • Experience attending scientific and engineering meetings.
  • Experience in physiology, human health and safety, and underwater operations research topics.
  • Secret Clearance or interim Secret Clearance before on-boarding.
  • Experience coordinating research collaborations with academia, federal agencies, industry or international partners.
  • Familiarity with DoD/D.o.W research environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of funded research related to human health and safety in extreme environments, performance and endurance, tools for underwater operations, biology and biomedicine.
  • Manage external relations for Program Officers with partners including the Navy, Coast Guard, academia and industry.
  • Assist in preparing analyses, briefs, and presentations; organize meetings and collect, review information for program management.
