Job summary

Integer Technologies is seeking a senior engineer to lead naval power and energy systems work, developing supervisory controls and client-facing simulations. You will build models, run simulations, and deliver reports for national-security projects.

Required are 8+ years in power systems, deep MATLAB/Simulink knowledge, and strong technical communication. This remote role offers flexibility with a preferred in-person location in Columbia, SC and opportunities to impact critical defense

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional experience in electrical power systems and/or microgrids.
• Deep expertise with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with supervisory control methods for power systems, especially maritime systems (e.g., machinery control systems, electric plant control systems).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to deliver clear technical reports and concise briefings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop software to implement supervisory controls for power systems.
• Support technical execution of power system modeling & simulation projects.
• Build and validate models using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Build and validate models for real-time simulation environments for use in hardware-in-the-loop environments.
