Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking an experienced Senior Maritime Engineer to support Navy and Department of Defense customers. You will provide technical expertise across planning, development, integration, testing, sustainment, and execution of complex maritime engineering efforts.

The role requires collaboration with government customers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure mission readiness, regulatory compliance, and successful program delivery, with travel to Navy installations as needed.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional engineering experience supporting Navy/DoD maritime programs.
• Experience with maritime systems, vessels, waterfront operations or related engineering.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, data packages and perform design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support for Navy maritime, waterfront, and ocean engineering programs.
• Plan, design, integrate, test, evaluate, install, operate, and sustain maritime systems.
• Coordinate with Navy customers, contractors, and suppliers to address technical requirements and mitigations.
• Contribute to technical reports, analyses, cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation.
• Support on-site engineering during testing, installation, and field operations.
