LAUKOA is seeking a Senior Maritime Engineer to support Navy and DoD customers with planning, development, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex maritime systems.

The role requires experience in naval programs, strong technical communication, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams across government and industry. Travel to Navy sites and related facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting U.S. Navy, NAVSEA, NAVFAC, NSWC, NUWC, or other Navy/DoD maritime programs.
• Experience in maritime, naval, ocean, waterfront, vessel, or undersea engineering.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to travel to Navy installations and government locations as required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any Government security clearance or installation access.

Responsabilités

• Provide engineering and technical support for Navy maritime, waterfront, and ocean engineering programs and projects.
• Support the planning, design, development, integration, testing, evaluation, installation, operation, maintenance, and/or sustainment of maritime systems and equipment.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, technical data packages, calculations, procedures, manuals, and other technical documentation.
• Participate in design reviews, technical interchange meetings, readiness reviews, test events, and other engineering reviews.
• Coordinate engineering activities involving vessels, waterfront infrastructure, maritime equipment, test assets, lifting and handling equipment, or other specialized systems.
