Job summary

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years’ experience as military, civil service or contractor with shipboard engineering and maintenance experience.
• Five (5) years experience with ship design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and testing of general shipboard HM&E systems.
• Familiarity with US Navy organizations and processes.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management tools/software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report CMAV and CNO Availability maintenance planning and execution.
• Coordinate with the Program Office and Maintenance Team to analyze availability duration and report results to TDO.
• Analyze maintenance requirements vs. budget, availability, and schedules; provide prioritization recommendations to TDO.
• Determine if all required maintenance and modernization is identified and properly funded; report results.
• Review and confirm funding with PEs and AWPM; report findings.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to analyze, report financial trends, funding needs, deferrals, risks, and concerns; develop reports.
• Develop recommendations to defer or descope work items that do not impact the ship’s mission.
• Analyze BCAs for non-work-package items and provide adjudication recommendations.
• Coordinate funding requests and verify accuracy; report status to TDOs.
