Job summary

C & G Consulting seeks a senior cybersecurity systems engineer to research, evaluate, and implement next-generation cyber capabilities across the DPAE CVN portfolio. You will leverage data science and engineering to rapidly field capabilities and strengthen maritime cybersecurity.

You will collaborate with Navy centers, academia, and cross-functional teams to advance MT/OT security and provide clear, actionable briefs to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of experience with machinery control systems and cybersecurity design.
• Active DoD security clearance and strong written/oral communication skills.
• Experience interfacing with diverse engineering and cybersecurity teams.

Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, and implement cyber capabilities across the CVN portfolio.
• Perform advanced cyber analytics to reduce stovepipes and improve security posture.
• Collaborate with academia, FFRDCs, and Naval centers for cyber engineering standards.
• Define KPIs/KRIs and develop dashboards for portfolio cyber risk visibility.
• Translate cyber risks into clear briefs for technical and leadership audiences.
• Provide mentoring to junior cybersecurity engineers and promote cybersafe culture.
