Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of direct experience with machinery control systems, network security, and cybersecurity design, testing, and commissioning.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Desired Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CCIE.

Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, and implement next-generation cyber capabilities across the DPAE CVN portfolio using advanced data science and specialized engineering.
• Perform mandates analysis including Zero Trust for OT, control systems, and combat systems to mitigate cyber risks and enable rapid fielding.
• Evaluate novel cybersecurity technologies to improve CVN posture and address threats to Navy control systems and HM&E assets.
• Collaborate with academia, FFRDCs, and Naval Warfare Centers to support cybersecurity engineering standards and interoperability.
• Define and manage KPIs, KRIs and dashboards for portfolio cyber risk postures; develop analytics and reports.
• Coordinate cyber incident response processes with CCIR and Maritime Cyber Planning Centers; participate in incident response as needed.
