Tamayo Federal Solutions LLC (TFS) seeks an experienced Sr Cyber Security Architect to research, evaluate, and implement next‑generation cyber capabilities across the DPAE CVN portfolio. The role emphasizes data science, cyber analytics, and defensive operations to strengthen maritime cybersecurity posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Systems Engineering or related field.
• 7–10+ years of experience with machinery control systems, network security, and cybersecurity design/testing/commissioning.
• Experience evaluating cybersecurity mandates, including Zero Trust for OT, control systems, and combat systems.
• Ability to evaluate threats affecting Navy control systems, networks, and Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical assets.
• Experience defining KPIs, dashboards, or other cyber risk visibility tools for leadership decisions.
• Strong technical writing, documentation, briefing, and communication skills.
• Active DoD Security Clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Teams/OneNote).
• Ability to interface with team members, Navy stakeholders, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis of emerging cyber mandates and evaluate new cybersecurity technologies.
• Support collaborative R&D efforts and develop cyber risk metrics and dashboards.
• Provide advanced cyber analytics to support DPAE CVN leadership and incident response planning.
• Coordinate across Navy and maritime stakeholders and translate risks into actionable recommendations.
