Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. is seeking a seasoned naval architect to support the Newbuild organization across design, development, review, and execution of cruise ship construction projects.

You will participate in design reviews, weight and stability assessments, and coordinate with shipyards, class societies, and internal teams to ensure safety, cost efficiency and timely delivery. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Ship Design or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in a similar naval architecture role.
• Strong knowledge of vessel stability, hull form and structural design.
• Ability to read and comment on technical drawings and calculations.
• Proficient in design review and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Support naval architecture scope for newbuild, revitalization, dry dock and other programs.
• Review shipyard drawings and technical specifications for compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate with yards, classification societies, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Assist with weight reports, stability documentation, and deadweight surveys.
• Participate in design reviews, workshops, and project coordination meetings.
• Assess design changes for safety, cost, schedule and guest experience.
• Support development and maintenance of owner’s requirements and standards.
