Job summary

WSP is seeking a Lead Natural Resources Permitting Specialist / Project Manager for our Minneapolis, Minnesota office. You will lead complex environmental permitting and compliance projects, serve as trusted adviser to clients and project teams across the Midwest, and manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, develop work plans, forecast budgets, mentor junior staff, and identify opportunities for additional services through business development.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience managing environmental or permitting projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, deliverables and client expectations.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across offices.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental permitting and natural resources projects from initiation to completion.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client communications.
• Coordinate with biologists, engineers, planners and specialists.
• Develop work plans, staffing, schedules and budget forecasts.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development activities.
