Job summary

DATAMYTE is seeking an experienced Mobile Application Developer with deep native Android and iOS expertise to own and evolve our mobile apps across platforms. You will lead architectural decisions, implement AI-driven development practices, and collaborate with executives to translate business goals into robust mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on mobile development across Android and iOS.
• Experience delivering end-to-end native apps with release management.
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin and Objective-C/Swift.
• Strong REST API integration and security awareness.
• Ability to own mobile architecture decisions end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development, delivery, and maintenance of native Android and iOS apps.
• Build responsive UIs for phones and tablets on both platforms.
• Apply AI-driven development practices to accelerate delivery and modernization.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Development to translate requirements into design.
• Manage Proof of Concept activities and validate new features.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and plans.
• Apply MVC/MVVM/MVP patterns appropriately.
• Create reusable components and libraries for both platforms.
• Integrate with backend services, cloud and third-party APIs.
• Conduct performance tuning and ensure platform stability.
• Implement and maintain unit tests, both manual and automated.
• Coordinate with offshore teams during knowledge transfer.
• Perform design/code reviews and document architecture decisions.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Lead release activities across App Store and Google Play.
