Job description

The Senior Mobile Developer (Android & iOS) will design, develop, and maintain high-quality native mobile applications across both Android and iOS platforms.

This role involves building scalable mobile architectures, integrating with backend services, ensuring application performance and security, and leading code quality initiatives.

The developer will collaborate closely with product, UX, and backend teams in an Agile/Scrum environment and provide technical mentorship to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android and iOS applications.
• Build scalable, reusable mobile application architectures using modern patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Translate UI/UX designs into intuitive and high-quality user interfaces.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party SDKs.
• Ensure mobile applications meet performance, security, and scalability standards.
• Manage application deployments to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and backend engineering teams within Agile/Scrum workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support release activities.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in mobile application development.
• 6+ years of hands-on Android development experience using Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack components.
• 6+ years of hands-on iOS development experience using Swift, Objective-C, and iOS SDK.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing mobile architectures (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• 5+ years of proven experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party SDKs.
• 5+ years of experience implementing mobile security best practices.
• 5+ years of proficiency with Git and collaborative version-control workflows.
• 4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• 4+ years of experience with mobile testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, XCTest, Appium).
• 4+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to travel at least 3 days per week (preferred location: Atlanta, Georgia).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
• Experience with mobile performance optimization techniques.
• Exposure to cloud services such as Firebase or AWS.
• Experience building mobile solutions for banking, fintech, or enterprise environments.
• Published applications on Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store.
