Job summary

JobCubby is seeking a senior modeling and simulation engineer to design and operate spacecraft software for national security missions. You will drive technical direction, build mission-level simulations, and mentor junior engineers in a secure, on-site environment.

You will work with Rust and C++, Python and MATLAB to model propulsion, attitude control, power, and communications, ensuring robust performance under contested, real-world conditions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship.
• 5+ years of professional modeling and simulation experience.
• Proficiency in Rust or C++ and experience with scientific computing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop mission-level modeling and simulation of national security space missions.
• Model and analyze constellation-level capability against mission requirements and constraints.
• Create and maintain simulation software infrastructure for 20kW+ spacecraft.
• Develop physics-based models of spacecraft subsystems and validate against goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and set technical direction across the stack.
