Job summary

NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory seeks a Program Area Manager within the National Programs Office to lead BD for National Security and Defense initiatives. You will oversee customer outreach, coordinate leads, contracts, and pricing, and guide cross-functional teams to win new work.

Requirements include high-level technical leadership, broad DoD/NSS domain knowledge, and a proven BD track record across the full lifecycle. TS/SCI clearance is required; position may be classified higher.

Qualifications

• Leadership in plan formulation, implementation and delivery of technical products.
• Extensive experience in securing business with reimbursable customers through all BD lifecycle stages.
• Deep multidisciplinary knowledge in national defense/security space programs.
• Proven ability to manage complex customer relationships and multi-stakeholder projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships to secure new business.
• Direct resources and oversee cost, schedule, and performance for JPL tasks.
• Lead NPO BD team to improve processes and win velocity.
• Represent JPL in customer and technical interface exchanges.
• Coordinate BD with contracting, pricing, and implementing orgs.
