Job summary

SEIU in the United States is seeking a Senior Political Program Manager (Member Programs) to advance the national member political engagement program. You will design and implement training, candidate pipelines, and education supports across locals, with a focus on building durable infrastructure for member engagement to support SEIU's political work.

The role requires at least five years in electoral or legislative campaigns, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams

Qualifications

• Five or more years in electoral, legislative campaigns or union organizing.
• Proven ability to design and implement political plans.
• Deep knowledge of campaign strategies and operations.
• Experience with voter files and VAN.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple programs across states.

Responsibilities

• Assist Local Unions with education, mobilization and leadership development.
• Coordinate National Member political engagement workshops, toolkits and other national programs.
• Enhance the political infrastructure of SEIU through partnering with Area Political Directors and local plans.
• Track and report national member political activism, development and mobilization.
