SEIU (Service Employees International Union) in Washington, DC HQ seeks a Senior Program Manager to support the Organizing Hub, drive campaign planning, and build systems that enhance cross‑hub communication and accountability.

Reporting to the Director of Organizing Governance and Hub Management, you will supervise staff, coordinate meetings and events, manage reports and budgets, and ensure timely updates to leaders across the union.

Competenze

• Minimum five years of experience in political and/or labor organizing.
• Experience supervising and developing staff.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and deadline-driven skills.
• Excellent writing and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in G Suite; familiarity with Quickbase or similar platforms.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with the Director to manage high-priority action items across the Organizing Hub.
• Develop systems to support campaigns and hub-wide initiatives.
• Supervise staff to ensure campaign operations and program management.
• Coordinate internal communications, reports, contracts, and budgets across the Organizing Hub.
• Work with leaders across hubs and the Executive office to provide updates.
• Support meetings, special projects, and campaigns with logistics assistance.
• Ensure staff complete internal administrative reports and participate in departmental initiatives.
