SEIU, the Service Employees International Union, seeks a Senior Political Program Manager (Member Programs) to lead the national member political engagement program. The role partners with SEIU national, area, state, and local leadership to build sustainable infrastructure for member political programs, including education and training for local staff and members.

The position requires leadership, strategic political planning, and experience with voter targeting.

Qualifications

• Leadership and sound judgment.
• Grassroots political organizing expertise.
• 5+ years in electoral or legislative campaigns or union organizing.
• Experience developing and implementing political plans.
• Knowledge of campaign strategies, planning and execution.
• Experience with voter files, VAN, and targeting.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority programs.

Responsabilités

• Assist Local Unions with developing member programs focused on education, mobilization and leadership development.
• Build and coordinate National Member political engagement workshops, toolkits and other national programs.
• Enhance the political infrastructure by partnering with Area Political Directors to develop leadership, programs, and grassroots training.
• Track and report national member political activism, development and mobilization.
