Job summary

Medline Industries, Inc. is seeking a senior Retail Account Manager. The role is open to remote candidates, with preference for those near Bentonville, AR.

Illinois-based candidates may follow a hybrid schedule. You will own strategy and sales activities for key national retail accounts, aligning with brand marketing, finance, supply chain and shopper marketing. You will lead customer interactions, develop launches and annual plans, manage budgets, monitor performance, and mentor other account

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related field.
• At least 8 years of direct sales and/or account management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of sales, trade, category management and marketing concepts/methods.
• Ability to present to senior management and influence decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive a vision and account strategy for growth.
• Position products, programs, and promotions to maximize sales.
• Lead customer interactions for launches, plans, logistics.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations and follow up on opportunities.
• Manage account budgets and monitor progress against budget.
• Control program costs while maximizing sales and reducing costs.
• Conduct account reviews to measure sales performance.
• Analyze market trends and provide forecasts.
• Mentor Retail Account Managers and lead projects.
