Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Linux platform engineering/administration experience.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible and virtualization tools (VMware/KVM).
• Scripting and automation with Python, Bash and PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and secure build/deploy architectures.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Implement platform architecture and modernization strategies for NASAMS mission systems, including automation and secure platform design.
• Develop resilient, scalable, and secure platform environments using Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Artifactory and related technologies.
• Work on end-to-end DevSecOps workflows to support high-frequency, high-quality deployments across MDS programs.
• Work on CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) for secure, automated build, test and release at scale.
• Collaborate across Software, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, Platform and I&T teams.
• Mentor Platform Engineers, provide technical direction and foster learning.
• Provide leadership in Agile Scrum/Kanban environments, guiding planning and execution.
• Spearhead lab design and management activities.
