The Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) software department within Raytheon is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to support the National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS) team. NASAMS is a cutting‑edge air defense system that protects critical assets and population centers from aerial threats by integrating advanced radar, command and control (C2), and missile systems.
Platform Engineers design, optimize, and maintain the secure, scalable, mission-critical software infrastructure that underpins radar, C2, and DevSecOps‑intensive systems. You will help develop our platform architecture, enhance modernization, and ensure delivery of robust capabilities that support real‑time mission execution across programs.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
