Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Platform Engineer in Marlborough, MA to integrate software in C++, C, and Java on RedHat and Windows within a Layer3 network. You will support multiple programs and platforms, implement OS configurations to support applications and cyber requirements, and apply agile practices with automation and CI.

This on-site role in Marlborough may require occasional travel to stakeholder sites. A strong background in DevSecOps, Linux, and networked systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, Bash).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Git, ClearCase).
• Experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining Linux OS.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a US Government Interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve DevSecOps pipeline with test automation.
• Handle pipeline emergencies and restore normal operations quickly.
• Collaborate with engineers at all levels.
• Debug and fix stability issues across multiple baselines.
• Configure and install operating systems (RHEL) and network devices.
• Perform integration and testing of real-time embedded and Linux-based software.
• Maintain and enhance tooling infrastructure.
• Possibility of travel domestically and internationally.
