Job summary

Scientific Drilling in Casper, WY is seeking an experienced MWD Operator 3 to support MWD/LWD services across client projects. You will pre-plan and mobilize jobs, coordinate with the MWD Coordinator, and ensure timely delivery of logs and data to customers.

You will supervise, train and develop Lead, Second and Trainee MWD Operators, applying advanced knowledge of oilfield systems. The role requires problem solving, field readiness and strict adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of the oilfield industry and MWD/LWD tools.
• Ability to supervise, train and develop Lead, Second and Trainee MWD Operators.
• Experience supporting pre-job planning and client coordination.

Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for MWD/LWD job pre-planning and mobilization.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients to ensure repeat work.
• Ensures logs, digital data, and reports are delivered to customers on time.
• Provides pre-job and post-job support and oversight.
• Supervises shop technicians in checking and preparing MWD/LWD equipment.
