Job summary

Scientific Drilling seeks a Pulser Technician to join our Casper, Wyoming team. You will be responsible for repair, maintenance and readiness testing of Pulsers used in MWD operations, ensuring tools are qualified for deployment to field operations.

You will disassemble, inspect, reassemble and perform function tests, fill required documentation, and work with the team to troubleshoot issues and ensure safety and reliability of equipment in a challenging environment.

Qualifications

• High School and/or Associate Degree.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of Scientific Drilling Pulsers (used for MWD Operations).
• Test and troubleshoot any/all functioning issues on tools received from operations.
• Disassemble clean and inspect tool components for wear and/or damage.
• Assemble, function test and ready tools for deployment to operations.
• Able to use solenoid test system to qualify tools for deployment.
• Fill out all required forms, records and documents used in the manufacture/service of Scientific Drilling Pulsers.
