Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer – Medium Voltage (MV) to serve as the senior technical authority for MV power distribution products and systems (1kV–38kV). You will govern architecture, validation, and lifecycle support while collaborating with customers, global teams, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure safety, quality, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Power Systems concentration preferred.
• 12+ years of electrical engineering experience in MV switchgear, substations, or related power systems.
• Senior technical leadership across multiple programs, product platforms, or launches.
• Experience with MV protection, relay coordination, insulation coordination, BIL, grounding, arc-flash mitigation, and power system studies.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern MV electrical architecture strategy for switchgear, substations, and distribution equipment.
• Translate requirements into specifications, roadmaps, and release deliverables.
• Lead system-level architecture decisions for protection, control, metering, and communications.
• Define and approve short-circuit, load-flow, arc-flash studies and coordination studies.
