Job summary

Thrivent Financial is seeking a Senior Mutual Fund Service Professional to serve as a subject matter expert in mutual fund controls, compliance requirements, and processes, partnering with teams and partners to develop and maintain robust programs across multiple systems and outlets.

You will provide training and coaching to team members, monitor quality and call handling, and deliver regulatory consults to ensure targets are met while driving continuous improvement and strong client service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years direct customer service interaction or mutual fund experience with problem resolution.
• 2–3 years of financial industry experience and knowledge of pertinent financial laws/regulations.
• Ability to adapt quickly and maintain a solution focus.
• Strategic problem solver with ability to think critically and analyze data.
• Strong MS Office proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel) and multi-system navigation.
• Post-secondary education or college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day control monitoring reports and research requests.
• Conducts testing and control monitoring; provides feedback to asset management, compliance, and mutual fund team to meet targets.
• Assists with complex, escalated, and exception cases for field and clients with minimal direction.
• Demonstrates problem solving and customer service with detailed, accurate communications.
• Provides high-level technical product and systems expertise to mutual fund teams via multiple channels.
• Monitors and coaches team members for quality and call escalations using key competencies.
• Proposes improvements and conducts training to address performance gaps.
• Partners with leadership to foster change, continuous improvement, and accountability.
