Job summary

Synechron, a global consulting firm, seeks a Senior Murex Technical Production Support Analyst for the Equity Derivatives desk in New York. You will ensure production stability on MX.3, triage incidents, and drive resolution with L3 teams and the vendor.

The role requires deep Murex expertise, Unix/Linux and scripting skills, strong communication, and 10+ years IT experience. Base salary $135k–$155k with comprehensive benefits and global project exposure.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience supporting Murex MX.3 in a production environment.
Familiarity with Murex modules such as eTradepad, Pricing, Simulation, Livebook, and Workflow.
SQL knowledge across Sybase, SQL Server, or Oracle; Unix/Linux support skills.
Scripting in Python and/or Unix shell, strong diagnostic abilities.

Responsibilities

Provide front-line production support for Murex MX.3 across pricing, risk, trade capture, workflows, market data, and interfaces.
Own incident triage, impact assessment, root cause analysis, and remediation.
Monitor logs, dashboards, schedulers, RTS feeds, and batch processes to identify issues.
Troubleshoot pricing discrepancies, risk gaps, and interface delays.
Coordinate with vendor and internal L3 teams; validate fixes.
Support production releases and change management with checks.
Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles for efficiency.
Contribute to monitoring, automation, and platform stability improvements.
