Job summary

Transamerica Corporation seeks a Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, and support Murex-based solutions across Front Office, Risk, Back Office and Datamart/reporting. You will lead integration efforts with downstream systems, build ETL pipelines, and drive automation and modernization initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in software engineering, strong Murex experience, and proficiency with SQL Server/Oracle, SSIS/SSRS, Java, .NET/C#, and APIs.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of software engineering experience using Java, .NET/C#, SQL, or equivalent enterprise development technologies.
• Hands-on Murex development experience, preferably supporting derivatives front/mixed platform functions.
• Experience integrating Murex with internal/external apps via APIs, ETL, files, services, or batch processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support Murex-based solutions across Front Office, Risk, Back Office, Accounting, and Datamart/reporting functions.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Murex and internal peripheral applications.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes to move and transform trade, valuation, and accounting data.
