Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, math, engineering, finance, or another technical field.
• Three or more years of software engineering experience using Java, SQL, or equivalent.
• Hands-on Murex development or functional development experience, preferably supporting derivatives.
• Experience integrating Murex with internal and external applications via APIs, ETL pipelines, or batch processes.
• Strong SQL Server and/or Oracle skills, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Experience with ETL and data integration tools like SSIS, AWS Glue, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support Murex-based solutions across Front Office, Risk, Back Office, Accounting, and Datamart/reporting.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Murex and internal peripheral applications and reporting platforms.
• Translate requirements into scalable solutions using Murex components, APIs, SQL, ETL pipelines, and reporting frameworks.
• Build and support Murex Datamart reporting solutions, including schemas and data layers.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines using SQL Server, SSIS, AWS Glue, Oracle, or equivalent.
• Design, develop, and support regulated and management reporting using SSRS, BI tools, and Excel/macros.
• Mentor developers on Murex practices and release readiness.
• Collaborate with Finance, Investment Operations, Risk, and offshore teams in an agile or hybrid model.
