Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Murex Platform Engineer to design, develop, and support Murex-based solutions across Front Office, Risk, Back Office, Accounting, and Datamart/reporting. You will integrate Murex with internal systems, data warehouses, and reporting tools while translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions using Murex, APIs, SQL, and ETL pipelines.

You will build Datamart reporting, support data flows, and lead architecture discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, math, engineering, finance, or related field.
• Five+ years of software engineering experience using Java, .NET/C#, SQL, or equivalent technologies.
• Hands-on Murex development or functional development experience.
• Experience integrating Murex or similar platforms with APIs, ETL pipelines, files, or batch orchestration.
• Strong SQL Server/Oracle skills including data modeling and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support Murex-based solutions across Front Office, Risk, Back Office, Accounting, and Datamart/reporting.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Murex and internal applications, reporting platforms, and data warehouses.
• Translate requirements into scalable technical solutions using Murex components, APIs, SQL, and ETL pipelines.
• Build and support Murex Datamart reporting solutions and data layers.
• Lead design sessions and architecture discussions for end-to-end Murex solutions.
• Mentor developers and analysts on Murex development, integration design, and release readiness.
