Job summary

Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to support its municipal water/wastewater practice in the Austin, Texas region. The role requires leading projects through planning, design, permitting, and construction support with a seller/doer mindset.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer with 10+ years in municipal water/wastewater engineering and 5+ years as a project manager, capable of managing scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• 10+ years of municipal water/wastewater engineering experience, including design and project delivery.
• 5+ years of experience as a project manager.
• Experience with water/wastewater systems: treatment plants, pump stations, collections, distribution.
• Strong understanding of Texas regulatory processes (TCEQ).
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver within scope, schedule, budget.
• Strong client relationship management with municipalities/utilities in Central Texas.

Responsibilities

• Leads municipal water/wastewater projects of moderate to advanced scope in Austin and Central Texas.
• Guides technical execution, problem-solving, and risk management across project Phases.
• Ensures deliverables meet federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Builds relationships with municipalities, utility districts, and regulators.
• Leads project teams and mentors engineers and staff.
• Manages scope, schedule, budget, and subcontractor performance.
• Contributes to business development through client engagement and proposals.
