Job summary

Wood, Patel & Associates, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Municipal Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams in planning, design and delivery of municipal infrastructure and site development projects.

The successful candidate will bring civil engineering expertise, project management proficiency, and strong client relationships to ensure projects meet scope, budget, and schedule with high technical quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Arizona PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, with 3+ years in PM overseeing municipal projects.
• Experience with water, sewer, stormwater and roadways.

Responsibilities

• Manage design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects including water, sewer, stormwater, roads, site development, and parks infrastructure.
• Lead preparation of basis of design reports, feasibility studies, preliminary and final design documents.
• Serve as primary client liaison, developing scopes, negotiating contracts, and ensuring communication through the project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage project budgets and schedules; monitor progress for on-time/on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with subconsultants, contractors, and regulators to ensure compliance.
