Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) seeks a Project Manager for the Municipal Services Department in Hackettstown, NJ. You will lead planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure—from roadways to water and sewer systems—while managing scope, schedule, and budgets.

You will coordinate engineers, designers, and subconsultants, act as the main client contact, and guide public meetings and approvals. A NJ PE license and 10+ years of municipal experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of New Jersey is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and execution of municipal infrastructure projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and overall project delivery.
• Oversee plans, profiles, and construction details using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants.
• Act as primary contact for municipal clients and agencies.
• Lead client meetings, public presentations, and stakeholder coordination.
• Provide construction administration support and field visits.
• Develop and manage project budgets and cost estimates.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development.
