Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license required (preferably NJ).
• Minimum of 12 years of engineering experience with a design focus.
• Experience as Project Manager, Project Engineer, Deputy Project Manager or Design Manager.
• Experience with NJDOT, NJTA or similar local clients.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a design team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project delivery for medium value or moderately complex projects.
• Manage the project plan and resource requests.
• Provide overall supervision and tracking of the project deliverables and finances.
• Ensure project activities and submissions adhere to the Quality Management Plan and firm policies.
• Responsible for supervision of the project team.
• Participate in proposals for opportunity pursuits and cost development.
• Prepare scope, schedule and budget for projects.
• Foster teamwork through assignment of work-sharing responsibilities.
• Coordinate with other business units through project assignments and collaboration.
• Attend project meetings to present specific aspects of work.
• Routinely interact with clients and stakeholders.
