WSB is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multi-discipline municipal projects across the US, with a focus on Austin-area initiatives. You will direct teams of engineers and staff, manage client relations, and ensure projects meet time and budget constraints while complying with relevant codes.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration with municipal clients, staff augmentation options, and opportunities for growth within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school.
• Registration as a professional engineer (or ability to obtain within six months).
• 8+ years municipal experience leading multi-discipline projects.
• Experience with City of Austin preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage all aspects of multi-discipline projects from proposal through closeout.
• Plan and coordinate client meetings, hearings, and involvement events.
• Lead engineers, technicians, and staff across multiple locations.
• Deliver CIP programs with municipal staff, potentially on-site.
• Establish and maintain relationships with municipal clients.
• Ensure project compliance with codes and environmental standards.
• Develop budgets and allocate resources; monitor expenditures.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies; resolve issues.
• Oversee contract negotiations and contractor performance.
• Prepare project correspondence and client communications.
• Lead business development efforts with new and existing clients.
• Promote continuous process improvements within municipal engineering.
