Job summary

City of Omaha is seeking a seasoned supervisor to lead the operations of its municipal divisions, including streets, sewers, parks, and facilities. You will plan, schedule, inspect, and direct a large workforce while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the operation, maintenance, and repair of municipal streets, sewers, parks, golf courses, or public facilities.
• Four years of supervisory experience equivalent to City Maintenance Foreman II or III.
• Must possess a valid class O driver's license at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, schedules, inspects, and reviews the operation of the assigned division.
• Prepare annual budget and cost estimates for maintenance and repairs.
• Oversees hiring, training, and performance evaluations of division personnel.
• Initiates and participates in bids, specifications, and contracted services.
