Job summary

Omaha Airport Authority seeks an Airfield Facilities Manager in Omaha, NE to lead maintenance and infrastructure for airfield pavements, lighting, drainage, and support facilities, ensuring safety and compliance with FAA requirements. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is required.
• Ten years of progressive experience in airfield maintenance or related operations with supervision.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and staff management capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of airfield maintenance practices and related systems.
• Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 139 requirements and FAA standards.
• Ability to plan and execute snow/ice control operations at scale.
• Proven budgeting, procurement, and asset-management experience.
• Excellent collaboration with airports' operations, engineering and tenants.

Responsibilities

• Lead Airfield Maintenance supervisors and direct field operations.
• Oversee pavements, lighting, markings, grounds, and related infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with 14 CFR Part 139, ACM, and FAA requirements.
• Coordinate timely corrections of maintenance deficiencies identified via inspections.
• Direct snow and ice control planning, staffing, and execution.
• Develop and manage preventive, predictive, and long-term maintenance plans.
• Guide staff development, training, and performance management.
• Align maintenance priorities with operations and stakeholders.
