• Supervises budget staff; assigns workload, direct output; and evaluates performance.
• Advises and trains department staff on budget issues, processes, and procedures.
• Develops and recommends changes to budgetary forms and office processes.
• Oversees year-end close-out in coordination with auditors and budget administrators.
• Develops budget transfers and budget amendments as required.
• Reviews City Council agenda items for fund availability.
• Acts as essential employee during declared emergencies.
