Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field with seven years of executive-level local government experience.
• Combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Ability to manage multiple divisions, budgets and staff in a municipal setting.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, coordinates and directs multiple divisions (Construction & Maintenance, Fleet, Solid Waste, Streets, Water & Sewer).
• Develops and implements management systems, procedures and standards for program evaluation.
• Prepares and maintains the Public Works budget with oversight of funding sources.
• Directs development and reporting of maintenance programs and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Collaborates with city leadership to ensure delivery of public works projects.
