Job summary

SEI Corporation in Oaks, PA is seeking a Municipal Bond Credit Analyst to join the Fixed Income Team. You will conduct independent fundamental credit research on investment‑grade municipal credits and selective high‑yield opportunities, translating issuer analysis into timely investment recommendations.

You will evaluate bonds, establish internal ratings, and collaborate with portfolio managers to inform security selection, portfolio construction, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in the municipal sector or asset management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; professional certifications preferred.
• Curious, independent thinker with a passion for markets.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork across investment teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental credit analysis of municipal issuers and securities across assigned sectors.
• Evaluate new-issue and secondary-market bonds and issue clear buy/hold/sell recommendations.
• Establish internal credit ratings, outlooks and investment theses.
• Analyze financial statements, budgets, revenues, debt profiles, pensions and liabilities.
• Assess macro developments affecting issuers and sectors; perform downside and scenario testing.
